We are always welcome to guest archers, individuals or groups, who would like to join us at one of our club sessions. Our guest fee is £3; for more information just get in touch. If you would like to shoot with us more often, you may be interested in our Associate Membership below
In order to join us, you must first have completed a Beginners’ Course, run by an ArcheryGB affiliated club. Joining the club in any of the ways below, gives you full access to the club facilities and resources, as well as an expectation to be part of the membership, supporting the day-to-day running of the club in whatever way you feel comfortable and able. In return you can expect to be part of a friendly, supportive, and encouraging group of fellow archers!
The annual membership is comprised of the following, due on 31st August* each year;
- Club membership fee
- Gresley Old Hall membership fee
- DCAA affiliation fee (Derbyshire County Archery Association)
- EMAS affiliation fee (East Midlands Archery Society)
- ArcheryGB affiliation fee (national governing body)
*If joining part way through the year, fees may be reduced (see below)
Membership Fees 2019/20
Full Members: Unless you have completed your Beginner’s Course with us, prospective new members are encouraged to shoot with us for up to six sessions as guests first (guest fee £3), to make sure the club is right for you before committing to membership fees. This will be deducted from your club fee, should you subsequently choose to join us. By this time you will have got to know some of our members and you’ll need two of them to sign your membership form to complete your application.
Associate members: You are encouraged to shoot with us for up to six sessions as a guest first (guest fee £3), to make sure the club is right for you before committing to associate membership fees. This will be deducted from your club fee, should you subsequently choose to join us. By this time you will have got to know some of our members and you’ll need two of them to sign your membership form to complete your application. As your primary allegiance will be to your home club, you will not be invited to attend club meetings, however you will be included on the club mailing list.
Non-shooting members: You will be most welcome on the expectation you will regularly support the club in some way, and hence only pay for membership of Gresley Old Hall. You may apply for non-shooting membership with two signatures from not-related full club members. As active supporters of the club, you will be invited to attend club meetings with full voting rights, and included on the club mailing list.
